Welcome!
The purpose of Between Women is to bring both straight and LGBT* women together to discuss women’s issues in the classroom, work place, media, and other aspects of life. Between Women is also meant to serve as a source of support for women of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
We at Between Women understand that gender is not a binary. Between Women strives to be a safe, supportive place for cis, trans, genderqueer, and other gender variant or non-binary individuals who in some way identify with the terms "woman" or "girl". Any abusive behavior on this blog, especially relating to another's real or perceived sexual orientation and/or gender identity, will NOT be tolerated.
**Note: While Between Women was created by Auburn University students primarily for other college students in the Auburn, AL area, we hope that this website can be helpful and informative for others as well.

Who are we?
D.C. Brown is the President and co-founder of Between Women at Auburn University. She is currently a junior studying Laboratory Sciences with a plan to move into Medical Laboratory Sciences. Diamond is also an intern at Auburn University's Women's Resource Center, a player of the Auburn University Women's Rugby Team, former drumline member of the Auburn University Drumline, and a Suite Ambassador for Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium.
After graduation, she plans to help various clients by giving doctors and nurses the proper diagnosis and health status through various medical laboratory testing.

Sami Lee is the Vice President and co-founder of Between Women at Auburn University. She is currently a junior studying Biomedical Sciences with minors in Psychology and Spanish. Sami is also an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology, officer of Auburn University's Gay-Straight Alliance, a tutor with Auburn University's Office of Accessibility, and a volunteer writer for the Autistic Self Advocacy Network's Communications Team.
Upon graduating, Sami plans to pursue a career working with children with developmental disabilities.
